The Bobigny site focuses on the development of drivers and data controllers for visibility systems, responding to the global market.
The site is looking for an Electronics Project Buyer M/F.
Your responsibility is to identify, source and manage the panel of suppliers within your scope of platform components in line with the Group's segment strategies.
As a member of the platform team:
You will attend and contribute to platform meetings and decisions to ensure that the purchasing strategy is fully taken into account.
Your Missions :
You attend Project Meetings, lead and/or support all project activities where purchasing is involved till completion of project closure
You prepare Sourcing in line with Segment strategies & Regional constraints
You enforce Purchasing Decisions or support arbitration in front of his other Network peers
You contracts Volumes, SOP, LTA, Cost Roadmap, Price matrix on a Worldwide, according to volume assumptions with Segment Panel supplier as well as you monitor and anticipate capacity risks
Assess pre-selected suppliers risk impacts on the project related to Development or Production capacity, Technical or Quality capability, financial sustainability
You manage achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers and follows progress of PQA stages . You assure having parts on time
You manage updates in Serial Life and triggers platform resources to engage qualification of changes with Technical and Customers networks as well as ensure proper transfer to Serial Production including Productivity Actions yet to implement
You support project buyers using Platform components to ensure project will meet from SOP: (i) commodity strategy, (ii) localization needs of receiving plant, (iii) global leverage and securitization of the supply base for the platform
About you:
You have a minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing
You have a Graduate Degree (engineer or master) with a strong interest for the technical environment
Your English must be fluent
You have good organizational and time management skills, the ability to persuade, excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
Experience in Electronic Commodity Purchase is a plus
